Just finished up my latest project. I got to try something new and exciting. A skateboard deck. Never tried one before, It was an amazing challenge. I thought it would take one day and it took almost a week straight of constant work. Every time I would move on to the next layer the layer underneath would melt. Oh my god it was like a joke by the end, cause I started to expect to have to start over evertime I made a change. I didn't take any progress shots. To stressed. But wow, I think I'm addicted. I love a challenge, and anytime I face an opportunity I can't figure out, I feel the need to step it up and consume it to the best of my abilities.OH yah right, how did I put this together? I started with a layer of spray paint, it's like a skin color and then went to town on the deck with a pile of sharpies and just built up the layers. WARNING: DO NOT USE BLUE, blue is evil and is EXTREMELY water soluble. You will hate yourself when it runs when you try to put on a a final coat and it melts on you. Reds not so hot either, but manageable. I used mod podge to seal it, about 3 coats. I used the matt stuff, and it didn't turn out to bad, but the glossy stuff might be fun. Might try that next time.

sooooooo errrrrrr ya. K' I know this is kinda random but ya I totally deleted all of my posts. . . So here it is my freshly washed and pressed blog straight from the dry cleaners.

this will be that last time that you ever see these sunglasses cause I totally smashed them later that night, and they where totally toast. But YAY to having to go shopping for new ones (yes!)
Jellyfish art, my new obsession. they are so pretty, I plan on painting tons and tons of these sexy deep water beasts.

My (re)new favorite paint GOUACHE, that's right it's spelled with an O. It's perfect it dries flat and mixes super easily to a smooth and sexy creamy texture and paints like opaque ink. If you have any at home USE IT it is amazing for EVERYTHING. and photographs/scans like a dream.

I'm not crazy about the blue background, I might fuck around with it some more to give it a color change to create more depth.
/this painting i love and hate at the same time. But I guesse I always feel that way about my paintings. I just feel it's kinda tacky and the skin color needs more detail and some work. But I think I'm going to sleep on it and come up with a cool answer later for it.
